Having seen FOX's new fall comedy series New Girl, I'll verify the indisputable fact that it's pretty much impossible to think about anyone but Zooey Deschanel in the show and chatting with the press today at the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour, Deschanel and the show's creator, Liz Meriwether, were asked if this was specifically written on her behalf.
